Losing 100 pounds is hard.
Running 13.1 miles, when jogging used to make you pass out, will challenge your very being.
Changing is no easy feat.
Doing it alone is even harder.
So why do it?
Power In Numbers
Over the last few years, I’ve had one person by my side, encouraging me. Every step of the way, Candi always supported my efforts in running and weight loss. It wasn’t easy for her at times, I’m sure. But she stuck with me through every setback, bad mood and tear. She offered encouragement to me when I needed it most.
As time went on, others began to cheer me on too. Some I would have never expected. Many welcomed surprises.
Here’s the deal…
Changing your life requires someone in your corner, fighting for you. Yelling at you when you start to fall. Wiping the sweat from your brow.

Never, ever take for granted those in your life who empower you and lift you up, even when times are hard.
Find one person, or 10,000 people to get in your corner and cheer for you.
And be sure to return the favor.
